The plaque unveiling ceremony honors the Deaf volunteers, including Gallaudet alumni, who served and contributed to the 1950s and 1960s spaceflight research with the US Navy/NASA. The event is hosted by the Schuchman Deaf Documentary Center. Light refreshments will be provided.
